NMCG Avocats assists Netwo in its sale to the Altitude Infra group

Netwo, a technology start-up based in France, aims to transform the B2B telecoms industry by offering telecoms operators the means to simplify, automate and boost their operations. This transformation is made possible by a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that enables operators to respond effectively to their customers’ communications needs, including Internet access, networks, fixed telephony and 4G/5G data services.

Altitude Infra, as the third largest fibre optic infrastructure operator in France, is helping to make 12.5 million French people eligible for fibre optics. With a commitment to more than 5 million connections nationwide, the company strives to provide a comprehensive and tailored response to the complex needs associated with digital development, establishing significant partnerships with local authorities.

The aim of the alliance between the Altitude Group, a major player in the French telecommunications industry, and Netwo, an emerging telecommunications technology company, is to promote a more open and equitable B2B telecommunications market. This comes at a time when four national operators currently hold 90% of the B2B connectivity market in France.

Laurent COURTECUISSE, partner, and Béatrice BILLIARD, of counsel, provided expertise and advice to Netwo’s shareholders during the sale to the Altitude group.
